Justin Bieber pocketed three trophies last night at the "American Music Awards"… including the night's first award, Favorite Male Artist - Pop/Roc
He told the crowd, quote, "I want to say this is for all the haters who thought maybe I was here for one or two years, but I feel like I'm going to be here for a very long time." There was no mention of Selena Gomez. In fact, Justin's date to the show was his mom, whom he brought onstage for his third and final acceptance speech.
Nicki Minaj won two awards…Best Artist and Album in the Rap/Hip-Hop category.
Other winners included Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Carrie Underwood, Linkin Park and David Guetta.
Not surprisingly, Pink gave the best performance of the night…basically recreating her "Try" video. PSY closed out the show with "Gangnam Style"… but before it was over, it turned into a duet…when MC Hammer hit the stage and the song turned into a mash-up of "Gangnam" and "Too Legit to Quit".

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had an up-and-down week. On Wednesday, they reportedly spent the night together. But a dinner date on Friday night ended in disaster when Selena stormed out after just 10 minutes, then locked Justin out of her house. But he still ended up spending the night. He was spotted leaving Saturday morning. On Saturday night, Selena was seen hanging out with breakup queen Taylor Swift.
Remember Anna Nicole Smith? Her Guess Jeans ad campaign in the early '90s helped launch her to stardom. For better or worse. And now, her 6-year-old daughter Dannielynn is following in her footsteps.--Dannielynn just did a photo shoot for Guess. And it sounds like she enjoyed it. Her dad Larry Birkhead says, quote, "She said, 'Now tell me, when am I going to be on those shopping bags?'--"She asked if she was going to be on billboards, and I said, 'Maybe . . . you never know.'"
--Before any of that happens, though, Larry wants Dannielynn to, quote, "be a kid and have school." Click here to check out video from the shoot here.
After bagging on Barbara Walters, Lindsay Lohan popped up Friday morning on ABC's "Good Morning America". And while it was mostly a softball interview, journalist Amy Robach did bring up the paternity test that proved Lindsay's dad Michael has a 17-year-old love child. And Lindsay pleaded ignorance. She said, quote, "I didn't even hear that, so thanks for the news!" (--Here's video. Skip ahead to 2:56 for the stuff about her family. Most of the interview is about "Liz & Dick". And if you watch the interview from the beginning, you'll notice that Robach calls the movie fantastic" and says it's getting "rave reviews". That's not really true. If you Google "Liz & Dick reviews", you'll see they're pretty mixed, but mostly negative. The "Hollywood Reporter" was particularly BRUTAL, ripping both the movie and Lindsay's performance.
You don't have to dig too deep to understand the symbolism here: An artist named Jason Mecier made a portrait of Honey Boo Boo…entirely out of trash. Said trash includes stuff inspired by Honey Boo Boo's real life…including coupons, butter, "sketti", cans of hair spray and Red Bull and pig's feet.

"Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" made $141.3 million at the box office this weekend. The movie had the fifth-best opening day ever, making $71.9 million on Friday alone…although that number is slightly inflated because it counts Thursday's 10:00 P.M. screenings too. But that's NOT a franchise record. "New Moon" beat it by about $1 million, having made $72.7 million on its opening day back in 2009. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2", "The Avengers", and "The Dark Knight Rises" had bigger opening days than both of them. In terms of the entire weekend, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2's" $141 million ranks at #8 on the all-time list. And again, the only "Twilight" film that did better was "New Moon" with $143 million.
Some tv tidbits
#1.) "COPS" will begin its 25th season on December 15th…but the "Wall Street Journal" says it's "possible this will be its final season."
Fox hasn't made a decision on the show's future, but they have cut back on the number of episodes this season to make room for sports, and the show's co-creator John Langley says its future on Fox is, quote, "uncertain and problematic." "COPS" is the longest-running entertainment show on prime-time network TV, and it will air its 850th episode this season.
#2.) CBS has canceled their new show "Partners"…a sitcom about the working partnership of two men, one gay and one straight.
#3.) ABC has canceled two new dramas: "Last Resort", about the crew of a U.S. nuclear sub … and the supernatural show "666 Park Avenue".
Taylor Swift admitted that she did NOT laugh when Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood ripped on her at the CMAs. And "People" magazine believes Taylor is dating Harry Styles from One Direction because he was all over her at the rehearsal for her guest spot on last week's "X Factor". Mario Lopez confirmed it…saying the two were holding hands backstage.
