It was double elimination on “Dancing with the Stars” last night. Emmitt Smith and Apolo Anton Ohno were the two sent home. That means that next week's finale will be between three women: Melissa Rycroft, Kelly Monaco and Shawn Johnson.
According to the "Star" tabloid, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are finally engaged. He supposedly popped the question in Paris last week. Kourtney and Scott have been together over five years…on and off again. They have a son named Mason who'll be 3 next month, and a daughter named Penelope who was just born this past July.
How’s this for a small world. RadarOnline is claiming that Britney Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander is dating Kevin Federline’s first baby-mama, Shar Jackson. Kevin and Shar had two kids together, then left her for Britney in 2004. Earlier that year, Britney spent 55 whole hours married to Alexander, who was a childhood friend. They got hitched in Vegas, then quickly had the marriage annulled. A source says, quote, "Shar and Jason were introduced several years ago at a gifting suite in Los Angeles and have been friends ever since, but a few weeks ago they began dating."
Justin Bieber was being chased in his Ferrari this week by the paparazzi…so what did he do? He stopped dead in traffic. That didn't get the guy to leave him alone. He just sat there in the lane next to Justin, filming him. And the guy on the other side of Justin stopped too, to record the scene with his phone. With all the cars behind them beeping away, Justin finally sped off after some dude with a mullet came up and started complaining.
At a custody hearing yesterday, a judge ruled that "Modern Family" actress Ariel Winter will remain in her older sister's custody until a trial on December 12th. It was determined that Ariel's mother did verbally abuse her, but their investigation into allegations of physical abuse was inconclusive. Still, Child Services felt the situation was so severe that they recommended Ariel's mom lose custody altogether.
Somebody sent a "suspicious package" with a "white powder" to the studio where "X Factor" tapes in an apparent attempt to scare Khloe Kardashian. The powder was tested, and it turned out to be harmless. There was also a letter included, but there's no word what it said. The package never got to Khloe. This sounds similar to the packages that were sent to Bristol Palin during her time on "Dancing with the Stars". "X Factor" tapes at the same studio, so the same person could've sent all of them, but that hasn't been determined. The FBI is investigating.
Rihanna flipped out onstage during the London show on her 777 Tour, because the live band wasn't syncing with the backing track. It happened while she was "performing" "Where Have You Been".
She stopped about a minute in…turned back toward the band . . . and yelled, quote, "All right, what the [eff]? Stop, stop this [crap]. What the [eff] is that? Why is the track off from the band?" Turning to the crowd, she added, quote, "This is the bull[crap] we deal with when we're just doing a random, rock 'n' roll tour, all right. With no rehearsals and [crap], I apologize . . . we can start this one again from the top."
We're not sure if by "track" she's referring to a VOCAL track. But it did appear that she was heavily lip-syncing.
If you watch the show “Nashville” you may wonder if that’s what it’s really like. According to Carrie Underwood, the answer is yes…but mosly no. She did an interview with Rolling Stone and said "I feel like the show represents our town really well. I love watching it because I'm like, 'I eat there.'" Then again, she hasn't witnessed any of the nastiness that probably keeps fans interested in the show. She adds, quote, "I hope people don't think all the ladies of country music are that scandalous, because I promise you we're not.--"I hope people don't think it's all backstabbing and everybody sleeping with everybody else. That's really not the case, at least to my knowledge. --"There might be all kinds of stuff going on that I don't know about, but not in my world. People really are pretty open and friendly and normal."
Is Jessie James engaged again? Maybe…. He has set his sights on a drag racer Alexis DeJoria. They’ve only been dating for a little over a month…and their engagement has yet to be announced, but Hollyscoop is saying he’s proposed. This will be Jesse’s fourth marriage, and fifth engagement, and, no…we are not making up those numbers. Jesse and Alexis have been dating for a little over a month,” but their engagement has yet to be announced. We’re told not many people know about it yet…
There’s rumor that Ben Affleck has gone back to his womanizing ways…He’s on the lookout for a leading lady for his next film, called “Focus”…his first choice is Kristen Stewart…and she’s eager for the part. Last week, eyebrows were raised at the Polo lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel when Ben and Kristen walked in together. They were deeply involved in conversation and appeared to have some kind of electric chemistry from the moment they sat down. The dinner lasted several hours and Ben looked totally enchanted. Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly points out that at the GQ Man of the Year event at the Chateu Marmont, Ben was acting single, enjoying his night alone and even went out for a solo drink afterward. He wasn’t rushing home to Jen. Ben and Jennifer Garner have been married for 7 years, but lately they’ve been spending a lot of nights apart. A source says they’re at the breaking point right now.
In a new an interview promoting her upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, Lindsay Lohan tells Us magazine that there is one big difference between her and Elizabeth Taylor. (you mean other than Lindsay’s lack of talent?) "Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I've never been drunk on set, ever. I did my time and I respect the law,” said Lindsay, who added that she learned a lot while being locked up in 2010. "As hard as it was for me to admit it when I was in denial, it was a blessing in disguise. I was in solitary confinement and I took the time to really get into the right headspace." She also says she wants a family and will adopt a son one day.
Bon Jovi has announced a big list of tour dates for next year… and get this: They're offering 1,000 tickets in every city for just $19.50. Tickets go on sale NEXT Friday. We should note that it's unclear how much the OTHER tickets cost…if you miss out on the cheap ones. They’re playing Denver on Tuesday April 16th at the Pepsi center.
