Jude Law will be 40 on December 29th, and he's not dreading it.  In fact, it's kind of a relief for him, because he no longer feels the pressures of being sexy.  He says, quote, "In a weird way, it's kind of a relief to think, 'Oh, I know I'm not that young sort of pretty thing anymore.'  "It's quite nice talking about what it was like to be the young pretty thing, rather than being it."

One of the many things Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries can't agree on is who gets to keep the $2 million engagement ring.  Kris wants it back…but Kim isn't budging…quote, "It's becoming a real sticking point between his and Kim's attorneys.   "She has made it plain that she has no intention of returning it though and feels she is within her legal right to refuse as she went through with the wedding.  "However, Kris contends that the marriage was a total sham and that Kim only wed him for publicity so therefore she has no right to keep such an expensive gift.

As we told you yesterday, Lindsay Lohan was arrested at a club early Thursday morning for allegedly punching a woman in the face.  And it may have been because the woman offered Lindsay a free psychic reading.  It also might have had something to do with Lindsay trying to pick up Max George from the boy band The Wanted.  Or maybe the chick just accidentally bumped into Lindsay.  There are about a million different versions of exactly what happened.  The 28-year-old woman she punched is Tiffany Eve Mitchell.  Tiffany herself says this started over an offer for a free psychic reading.  Tiffany is a psychic, and she says she had a premonition about Lindsay, so she offered to give her a free reading.
Lindsay turned her down and told her, quote, "Give me my space."
At this point, according to a source, a friend of Tiffany's started hurling insults at Lindsay and that led to the punch.
The big question is, of course, whether Lindsay was drunk.  Some sources say no…some say yes…and one says she was downing vodka and snorting cocaine.
Of course, Lindsay's attorney says she was NOT under the influence of drugs or alcohol and thinks that Lindsay will be totally exonerated

In addition to the arrest in New York City, Lindsay was also charged in California yesterday with lying to police, for claiming her assistant was driving when she ran her rented Porsche into the back of a truck over the summer.  Lindsay was charged with three crimes:  Providing false information to a police officer . . . resisting a police officer . . . and reckless driving.
It's almost unimaginable that Lindsay's probation wouldn't be revoked at this point.  The question is, how stiff will the punishment be?
As we've noted several times over the years, no judge has thrown the book at Lindsay yet, despite numerous perfectly appropriate opportunities to do so.  And one source says that Lindsay has a plan to avoid jail yet again:  She'll throw herself on the mercy of the court and enroll in a six-month rehab program.
