The Olsen Twins are known for their wildly overpriced fashion line “The Row”…it’s widely praised in their industry, no matter how ugly it lookds to outsiders.  Most expensive of all are their handbags…which previously have been sold for as much as $39,000.  But now they’ve topped themselves with a new purse.  And it’s a bargain too…just $55,000.  The black bag is covered with real prescription pills.  To say it looks hideous would be paying it too high a compliment.  It goes on sale a week from today…Just in time for Christmas.

After she was spotted carousing with Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber, and being insanely flirtatious with Bruno Mars, there was widespread speculation that Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr had separated from her husband Orlando Bloom.  Turns out it wasn’t true…he’d been in Africa shooting a movie and they’re reuniting Friday.  But the way she’s been behaving, he might want to think twice about leaving her alone again.

Aretha Franklin had a little wardrobe malfunction and may have accidentally bared her girls during a visit to the White House.  She was there for this weekend's Kennedy Center Honors.  And her rep supposedly told "USA Today" that the upper half of her gown wasn't hooked properly, and slid down to her waist.  According to the rep, this mishap exposed Aretha's, quote, "foundation-wearing girls in all their Victoria's Secret glory!"

Forbes.com has released its annual list of the Most Overpaid Actors in Hollywood…and this year's winner (slash) loser is Eddie Murphy.  He's followed by Katherine Heigl, who wasn't on the list last year.  To come up with the list, Forbes takes everybody's last three movies, and calculates how much those movies made for every dollar the star was paid.  Eddie's last three movies were "A Thousand Words", "Tower Heist" and "Imagine That".  And those films only made $2.30 for every dollar he was paid.   Unfortunately for Eddie, Forbes doesn't count animated movies, because then "Shrek Forever After" would have been in there instead of "Imagine That"… and he probably wouldn't even have made the list.
Katherine Heigl only generated $3.40 in box office for every dollar she was paid for "One For the Money", "New Year's Eve" and "Life As We Know It".
They were followed by Reese Witherspoon. Her movies "How Do You Know", "This Means War" and "Water for Elephants" only banked $3.90 for each buck she was paid.
Here are Hollywood's Most Overpaid Actors, along with how much their last three movies made for every dollar in salary they earned . . .
#1.)  Eddie Murphy,  $2.30
#2.)  Katherine Heigl,  $3.40
#3.)  Reese Witherspoon,  $3.90
#4.)  Sandra Bullock,  $5.00
#5.)  Jack Black,  $5.20
#6.)  Nicolas Cage,  $6.00  (--He was also #6 last year.)
#7.)  (tie)  Adam Sandler and Denzel Washington,  $6.30

#10.)  Sarah Jessica Parker,  $7.00  (--Not on the list last year.)

Former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz ended up in the hospital this past Friday, after suffering a mini-stroke.  Yesterday he Tweeted, quote, "I was in the hospital last Friday.  I suffered a 'Mini Stroke,' which was not fun at all.  Have to start taking care of my body!  Getting old!"  Today is actually Frankie's birthday.  He's an ancient 27.

Anderson Cooper went blind for 36 hours last week, while he was on assignment in Portugal for "60 Minutes".  The cause of his blindness was sunburned eyeballs.  He was out in the ocean on a boat for about two hours.  And even though it was overcast, the UV light bouncing off the water did a number on his eyes.  He said he woke up in the middle of the night and felt like his eyes were on fire.  It turns out he sunburned his eyeballs and he went blind for 36 hours.  NBC's chief medical editor Dr. Nancy Snyderman said, quote, "It's a reminder that frankly everyone needs sunglasses.

Something tells me the last thing Kate Middleton needs right now is parenting advice from Snooki.  But she's getting it.   Snooki says, quote, "It's hard, but don't stress out.  Enjoy your pregnancy and be excited." She added, quote, "Enjoy your time at home, or the castle, in her case, with the baby.  Especially the first few months.  You'll get to know him or her, keep them safe and fall more in love each day."

"Time" magazine released a ton of year-end lists yesterday.  55 top ten lists to be exact.  Here are some of the highlights . . .

Best Movie:  Their top two were movies you've probably never heard of:  "Amour" and "Beasts of the Southern Wild".  "Life of Pi" came in third.

Worst Movie:  Despite the hype, "Cloud Atlas" landed at the top of this list, followed by the year's biggest bomb, "John Carter", and "Hyde Park on Hudson", in which Bill Murray played FDR.

Best TV Series:  "Parks and Recreation" got the top spot, followed by "Louie" and "Homeland".

Best Songs:  Usher took this one with "Climax" . . . followed by "Gangnam Style" by Psy, and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe".

Best Comeback.  They gave it to Barack Obama, ahead of people and things like Peyton Manning, the Olympics, and boy bands.

Best Scandal.  The General Petraeus affair came in first, beating out Lance Armstrong, the Chick-fil-A gay marriage thing, and the Secret Service prostitutes.

Best App.  Kind of a strange pick.  They went with OnLive Desktop, which is a tablet app that lets you access Microsoft Office.  Instagram only came in sixth, but it's been around for a while.

Best Gadget.  The iPhone 5 came in first, beating out Nintendo's new Wii U.
Biggest Overreported Story.  Bath salts . . . the drug, NOT the salts you actually put in a bathtub . . . and the way they turn people into CANNIBALS.   The Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce came in second, Linsanity was third, the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart relationship came in fourth, and campaign gaffes came in fifth.

Barbara Walters has revealed that Honey Boo Boo made her list of the year's "Most Fascinating People"…even though she knows you may not approve.  She says, quote, "A lot of people will say, 'For heaven's sake, this is ridiculous, this is a child at five or six years old entering beauty contests. "But the relationship between Alana and her mother…that's the story, the two of them.  It's very touching…It's a love story.  It's a very sweet, loving story.  "Honey Boo Boo is not an obnoxious little girl.  She's sweet and loving with her mother and loving with her sisters. And now Anna has a new baby, and the baby has [three] thumbs, but so what?  It'll make you smile."

TV Land has a new sitcom in the works, which will star Michael Richards…Kramer from "Seinfeld"…along with former "Cheers" stars Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman.  It's called "Giant Baby".  Kirstie is playing a Broadway star.  Michael will be her driver, Rhea will play her assistant, and former "Dancing with the Stars" hottie Gilles Marini will have a recurring role as her chef.  There's no word when it might premiere.

The "Dancing with the Stars" season finale attracted 16.7 million viewers last week.  That was only good enough for fourth place in the ratings.  "Sunday Night Football" led the week with over 20 million viewers.

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are no longer hiding the fact that they're together.  Taylor and Harry hung out after the One Direction Madison Square Garden concert on Monday.  A little while later they took their two-person party to Harry's hotel.  Photos surfaced of them holding hands and walking in at around 4:00 A.M.  By the way…this all went down AFTER Taylor attended the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights gala, where she was honored with the Ripple of Hope Award.  Her ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy was NOT there.

Mel Gibson has said that he is considering reaching out to troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.   Lohan is facing a variety of legal and financial problems including three misdemeanour charges from a June car crash as well as her arrest on suspicion of assault in New York City last week.  Gibson, who has faced his own personal problems in recent years, weighed in on the controversy this past weekend, revealing that he has tried to help Lohan in the past.   "I may [reach out] again. Well, we all know about [troubles]. It takes one to know one."  Lohan has also received the support of X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato , who chided gossip blogger Perez Hilton last week for his treatment of Lindsay.
