I don’t know if you’ve seen Courtney Cox lately but she looks amazing. But she freely admits she's had a lot of help. She tells "New You" magazine, quote, "You know what, I'm game for anything. I'm very open to trying to prolong the inevitable." And that "anything" includes Lasers. She says, quote, "I'm a big laser believer I really think they are the wave of the future. I just did Ulthera which is supposed to produce collagen. And I'm about to do Fraxel, which will get rid of all these brown spots off my arms, chest and face. A conservative website is accusing CBS of mocking Christianity with a new Super Bowl promo that shows Neil Patrick Harris wearing eye black with the date of the game written on it. They say he's making fun of Tim Tebow, who often writes Bible verses on his eye black. And, of course, they're particularly upset because Neil is gay. But here’s the thing…if you remember, several months ago, after it was revealed that Beyonce was doing the halftime show, she posted a picture of herself wearing eye black with the game's date on it. And it's written exactly the same way Neil's is in the CBS ad: "Feb 3" under the right eye, and "2013" under the left. So if NPH is supposed to look like anybody, it's probably Beyoncé, not Tebow. "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson had in incident at JFK airport in New York City recently, when security mistook her for an “unaccompanied minor.” She is 22 by the way. This is not the first time this has happened. (--She does look like a kid . . . especially with that pixie haircut.)
Dina Lohan is throwing out some more accusations. She says daughter Lindsay is screwed up now because she watched her dad Michael Lohan beat Dina up in front of her when she was young. She claims Michael beat her over the years, and even raped her in 1990. Michael denies it, of course, and calls Dina "the devil."
Meanwhile, Lindsay was supposed to be in court yesterday to face charges that she punched that woman in a club last year. She didn't show, but the case was postponed anyway, because the investigation is ongoing.
In an interview with Barbara Walters that aired on "Nightline" last night, Mariah Carey confirmed that Nicki Minaj threatened her on the set of "American Idol"…and she took it seriously enough to hire extra security. She said, quote, "I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do. Sitting there on the road with two babies, I'm not going to take any chances . . ."It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate. I'm a professional. I'm not used to that type of environment. Barbara said Mariah and Nicki have since made up. But who knows. By the way, Barbara asked Mariah about the rumored $18 million she's making on "Idol". She wouldn't confirm that number…but said it was, quote, "in the ballpark." "Idol" premieres a week from tomorrow night, on January 16th.
Taylor Swift Adds to Her “Hall of Exes” Just yesterday, we were talking about the possibility of wedding bells in her future…now it looks like Taylor is suddenly single again! She rang in the New Year with Harry Styles in New York City. They shared a long deep kiss in front of fans at the stroke of midnight. Then they jetted off to the Caribbean for some fun in the sun. But, as young superstars will, the two young singers had a nasty fight. She flew home in a huff, while he moved to British billionaire Richard Branson's private island and kept the party going without her. A friend of Harry says he’s the one who called it quits, then "went to Branson's island for the day to let off some steam." Taylor’s Twitter account was full of dark hints as to what went wrong. She Tweeted, "Til you put me down". That's a line from her song "I Knew You Were Trouble", which is supposedly about Harry.

Remember Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte? Well, E! has announced that they're giving him his own reality show called "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?". The episodes will feature the swimmer partying and training as he prepares for the 2016 Rio Olympics while building his fashion line, making media appearances, dealing with his close-knit and outspoken family and friends and looking for the right girl.
Thursday morning (at 5:30am PT), Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane will announce the Academy Awards nominees. Katy Perry is setting her alarm early, just in case her song “Wide Awake” is nominated. Over 75 songs used in movies are eligible, but only five will be nominated. The overwhelming favorite to win is Adele's "Skyfall," which is featured in the latest James Bond flick. Another possibility is "Safe & Sound," which Taylor Swift performs in The Hunger Games. Perry’s "Wide Awake" was featured in her 3D movie Part of Me. She told USA Today (quote) “When I was growing up and working on music, it was always a dream to win a Grammy, but Oscar was so far out of my dream sphere.” She vows that, if nominated, she will rock the red carpet and dress like a winner.
Beyonce is reportedly shopping for a surrogate mother. Now that daughter Blue Ivy has celebrated her first birthday, Bey and Jay-Z are thinking about expanding their family. But a source close to them says (quote) “Beyonce wants Blue Ivy to have a brother or sister to play with, but she’s not sure she’s ready to put her body through another pregnancy.” Another pregnancy? That’s funny. Everyone was speculating that Beyonce used a surrogate the first time around. You remember the baby bump fiasco and how few believed she was actually carrying a child. Maybe this time around, they’ll be upfront about a surrogate mommy and not leave everyone guessing.
