Britney Spears is still out of a job and she could blame Beyonce. Rumors were rampant that Britney was leaving The X Factor for a residency in Las Vegas. But Caesars Palaces says that's definitely not happening. They are not as interested in hiring Britney now due to the controversy caused by Beyonce’s lip-syncing of the National Anthem. Spears has a notorious reputation for masking her voice at live shows with pre-recorded backing tracks. Apparently, the 100 million dollar paycheck that Britney was going to get was too big of a price to pay for lip syncing. So Britney's near-done deal has collapsed like a house of cards.

Beyonce knocked it out of the park for the half time performance yesterday. Her set list included “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” “Halo,” “Baby Boy” and “End of Time.” She also did “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women” during the much-hyped Destiny’s Child reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Hours after her high-profile performance, Beyonce announced she will kick off the North American leg of her The Mrs. Carter Show world tour on June 28 in Los Angeles.
If you missed "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday night, you missed a pretty interesting story Katie Couric told about her one and only date with…Larry King. It was 26 years ago so Katie was 30 and Larry would have been 56. So, was Larry a gentleman? It sounds like he was NOT. Katie says that when Larry asked her out, she figured it would be a good learning experience. But Larry was looking for something more. He took her to dinner then back to his place where he made his move. She says quote, "So we sat there, and what can I say? He lunged . . . and I started laughing a little bit because the whole situation was out of a bad Lifetime movie. "I said, 'Larry, you are such an interesting, nice man, but I would like to meet someone a little closer to my age.'" Katie said Michael Jackson asked her out, too…but she declined that one
In the second part of his interview on "Dr. Phil" on Friday, Manti Te’o hoaxer Ronaiah Tuiasosopo did end up performing his "Lennay fake girlfriend" voice… the very feminine voice he apparently used to trick Manti for over a year. Initially, he didn't want to do it because he was "embarrassed" or something…but he was able to do it after Dr. Phil gave him a "privacy screen" to sit behind. The show sent the audio to three voice experts…and all of them concluded that it was the same voice as the one in the original voicemails that Manti provided. Manti has not commented on the interview.

The couple welcomed their first, Leonardo, in January 2011, six months after they tied the knot. Just last week, the actress’ younger sister Monica announced that she was expecting her first child.

Chalk up another win for Argo. Ben Affleck, who was snubbed by the Academy Awards in the Best Director category, won that exact award over the weekend from the Directors Guild of America. The win for Affleck means that it will only be the seventh time since the DGA started handing out awards that the Oscars and the DGAs didn’t go to the same person.
