Simon Cowell is to blame for the saturation of TV singing competitions. Now he wants to get into the crowded TV food fight. As if we haven’t seen enough of Kitchen Nightmares, Top Chef and Cupcake Wars.  Cowell is currently in negotiations to import another one of his shows to the United States. Food, Glorious, Food! aims to find the best home-cooked meal. The winner of the competition gets a contract to sell the recipe so it can be mass-produced and offered at high-end grocery stores for ready-made dinners. A source says the network has (quote) “full faith in Simon and believe his latest idea will be a resounding success. It’s a pretty easy formula to translate to U.S. audiences.” Right, we love to watch TV and eat.

We knew that Lindsay Lohan had moved back home to New York…but we didn't know that "home" literally meant HOME.   Lindsay is living with her mom DINA in her childhood home…sleeping in her childhood bedroom.  Why?  Because money is tight these days.  She doesn't own a house, a car, furniture, an apartment.  She has nothing to her name.  It's quick money here and there [but] she blows it right away.   One person however says that Lindsay spends nights at the house now and then, but she's NOT living there.  She has an $8,000-a-month apartment in the city that she shares with a friend.

Leonardo DiCaprio may have a new girlfriend… Not only is she half his age, but she was messing around with Justin Bieber.  Leo is 38 and he’s been spotted in Miami with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin.  She's 19.  If you remember there were rumors about Barbara and Justin Bieber hooking up after they met at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last November.  And Barbara's name was thrown around as a possible reason Justin and Selena Gomez broke up.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner…lots of love in the air and talk of marriage. Well someone came up with a list of celebrities hat got hitched in Vegas.

In a recent interview with "Rolling Stone", Christopher Walken shared his #1 life lesson.  And it's simply this:  WEAR YOUR SEATBELT.  He said, quote, "Even in the limo, I buckle my seatbelt.  I got that seatbelt on before the car moves."  (--It's actually a video interview . . . and you can watch it here.)

I’m excited about this!   There's a new, all-animated version of "The Grinch" in the works.  It'll be in 3D, of course.  There's no word yet who'll be doing the voices.

Here's some super exciting news that's just in time for everyone who has finally stopped playing Farmville:  A TV series based on Farmville is in development.  There really aren't any details.  No network has bit on it yet…and all we know is that they're envisioning it as a half-hour animated show.

Robin Roberts will return to "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, February 20th.  That's five months to the day that she underwent her bone marrow transplant.   Robin won't be full-time right away.  The show says she'll be on an "abbreviated schedule" for the first few weeks so she can ease back into things.  "Good Morning America" has been sharing her progress on the show…and on Friday, February 22nd, ABC will re-tell her story in a special edition of "20/20".

Some premier’s on TV tonight.  "Touch" [2nd Season Premiere] on Fox

On Sunday… "The 55th Annual Grammy Awards" on CBS.  LL Cool J is your host and the performers include Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.  Plus Elton John and Ed Sheeran perform together.

Interesting story about Taylor Swift.  She's going to be the opening act…which is a big deal because that always goes to a performer who can knock it out of the park.  But the surprising part is that Taylor didn't find out about it until last week.  She said in an interview, Quote, "What's interesting is we presented this performance to the Grammy committee . . . and they said, 'Okay, cool you have a performance spot.'
"And then like a week ago they call us and say, 'Oh, by the way, you're opening the show.'"  She adds, quote,  "It's not like they approach you and say 'Let's do a big opening performance thing.'  It just surprised me I was going to go first."

One year ago, almost to the day, Whitney Houston was at the Beverly Hilton, getting ready for Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party, when she passed out in her bathtub and died.  Well, that party goes down tomorrow…at the Hilton again…and Whitney's family is invited.   Some of her relatives may show up, but Whitney's mom Cissy Houston was insulted by the invitation.  She said quote, "I got an invitation to the party…which is the most obscene thing.   "I don't know why they would want me to come to the party in which she died, you know?  Unheard of.  I guess maybe he just sent me a copy for remembrance sake."

Chris Brown better watch his back at the Grammys on Sunday…because Richard Marx might just be "Right Here Waiting"…to kick his behind.  -Marx recently added himself to Chris's long list of enemies when he Tweeted this…"Risque clothing banned at Grammys but guys who beat up women?  Come ooonnn downnnnn.....#goodcallgrammys."

Carrie Underwood used Twitter to vent her frustrations about jerks who talk too loudly on airplanes.  She Tweeted, "A note to fellow air travelers:  If you must talk SO loud, PLEASE keep the cursing to a minimum.  We can't get away from you."

As we all know Paula Deen has Type 2 diabetes and by eating better she actually has shed about 40 pounds of excess weight.   The bad news is that she’s picked up a new bad habit: She's tanorexic.   Right before our eyes she’s turning orange from an addiction to spray on tans. An insider says, (quote) “Paula is thrilled about finally losing weight. She’s been hitting the spray-tan can like crazy. She thinks it makes her look thinner, but no one wants to tell her that she actually looks more like a pumpkin. It’s downright distracting, but Paula is so tan-obsessed she just doesn’t see it.”  Paula’s one step away from being an older version of snookie and needs to stop.
