2013 is the year of Beyonce and if you can’t get enough of her… You’ve got a couple of choices on Saturday. Her highly-publicized documentary called “Life is But a Dream” debuts on HBO. It supposedly reveals the inner-life of Queen B. There are lots of complaints already tho that this is just another manufactured product promoting Beyonce’s perfection. If the documentary does anything, it proves she’s a control freak. On the other side tho, we may learn more about her during an intimate interview with Oprah. She tells Oprah about her sexy life with Jay-Z and why she fired her father, who was acting has her manager. Bey claims they fought a lot. A few of the arguments were about dad cheating on her mother and then fathering a young child. That airs on Sunday.
Kris Humphries has not only been dropped by his lawyer but dissed too! Kris will require a new California lawyer if he wishes to proceed with his Kim Kardashian divorce case. The lawyer also slammed Humphries on his way out, admitting there are no legal grounds to demand an annulment, which is the reason Kris has been dragging out this fight. In the papers that announced his resignation, the attorney referred to "irreconcilable differences" between himself and his client.
Yes, those are the grounds for most - wait for it… - DIVORCES.
This is hard to believe but Michael Jordan turns 50 on Sunday. He hasn’t played ball in 10 years. Yet he still earns $80 million a year. How does that happen? He still has a ton of endorsements, not to mention investments in various companies. His corporate partners include Nike, Gatorade, and Hanes. He also owns six restaurants, a North Carolina car dealership, a motorsports team…and of course, 80% of the Charlotte Bobcats. Jordan even out-earns all ACTIVE athletes except one: Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., who made $85 million in 2012.
Phillip Phillips' mother Sheryl Phillips was arrested for DUI earlier today. You may have seen her. She appeared on several episodes of "American Idol" during his run last season. An undercover unit observed Sheryl swerving her van across lanes of traffic in Albany, Georgia -- and pulled her over. We're told ... based on what officers observed after the stop…they had reason to believe Sheryl was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Wednesday’s announcement of the cancellation of Lady Gaga’s entire Born This Way Ball tour due to hip surgery will put a huge financial hurt on tour promotion giant Live Nation. The 22 concerts lost due to Gaga’s booboo will force Live Nation to refund around 200,000 tickets at a loss of approximately $25 million, according to Billboard.
More Grammy gossip still coming out. Backstage at the show, I guess Katy Perry wouldn’t let her boyfriend John Mayer out of her sight. “She followed him around like a puppy.” She’s smitten and John may finally be eager to settle down. Insiders say he’s trying to remold her image. John wants her to evolve with a more mature sound and leave behind the bubblegum pop. He's got the upper hand in this relationship. A source says, (quote) “She used to party all night, but she’s put the wild life behind her for John.” He’d like to see her say goodbye to TGIF and write more songs like “Wide Awake.”
Someone…or some-THING?.... is making 911 calls from a phone that used to belong to Katie Couric’s late husband Jay Monahan. It's a landline in Katie's apartment, but it was Jay's, and she never changed the number after he died in 1998. The calls are made Tuesday mornings at 2:00 A.M. It's happened at least 10 times. Police only hear static on their end, but they have to respond every time. On Tuesday, Katie even told her audience about it during a break in taping her talk show. It's probably pretty unlikely that Katie's dead husband is making phone calls. Police are investigating whether something's wrong with the phone, or if someone's pranking Katie. Apparently, someone with the right technical know-how could be tapping into the line and making it call 911.
This is awful news… Over the summer, South African runner Oscar Pistorius made history by becoming the first double amputee to compete in the Olympics. Today, he's sitting behind bars, accused of shooting and killing his 30 year old girlfriend…model Reeva Steenkamp. On Valentine's Day. There were some South African media reports that Reeva showed up at Oscar's house to deliver a surprise Valentine and he mistook her for a burglar but police are now saying that may not be the case. They also say there have been previous incidents, including, quote, "allegations of a domestic nature," at Oscar's home.
Jimmy Kimmel hasn't been afraid to talk about how much he hates Jay Leno…and for the record, he isn't worried about being too hard Jay. He says, quote, "I always feel bad if I hurt anybody's feelings, but I don't believe Jay Leno has actual feelings, and he doesn't seem to be that worried about other people's feelings."
Today, February 15th, is Phil Collins Day. Seriously, this is a real thing…it even has its own official website, as well as a daylong celebration, held annually in New York’s Rockaway neighborhood. In fact, it’s been going on since at least 2007. For more information, hit up PhilCollinsDay.com.

Kate Gosselin is back on tv! I know your excited. She taped an episode of "Celebrity Wife Swap"…and supposedly, her kids were traumatized to see their other parent leave them, and be temporarily replaced by Kendra Wilkinson. They were scared and very confused, having no idea who their new mom-for-a-week was, or why they were left alone with her to be filmed by strangers.” Then when taping was over in NOvember, they were told they could talk to no one about it until the episode airs. Celebrity Wife Swap premieres on ABC February 26
