I don’t know if you got the chance to check out yesterday’s Parade magazine…it’s always a fun issue talking about celebrity salaries. Taylor Swift made more last year than Anne Hathaway and Brad Pitt combined. Taylor made $57 million in 2012. Anne "only" made $10 million, despite being in two major movies, "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Miserables"… and winning an Oscar. Meanwhile, Brad made $35.5 million. Here's somebody else who made more than Brad and Anne: Justin Bieber. He came close to Taylor with $55 million…an estimated $6,261 PER HOUR. They also listed the 2012 salaries of several other celebrities.
Here, in no particular order, are a few other celeb salaries from 2012…
Channing Tatum: $15 million.
Blake Shelton: $20 million.
Adele: $32 million.
Alec Baldwin: $15 million.
Tom Brady: $23 million.
Paula Deen: $16.5 million.
Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Gabrielle Douglas: $10.25 million. (--The money comes from endorsements and her memoir.)
Guy Fieri: $8 million.
Serena Williams: $19 million.
Honey Boo Boo: $50,000.
Lebron James: $57.5 million.
Sofia Vergara: $21 million.
Carly Rae Jepsen: $2 million.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: $40 million EACH.
In addition to salaries, "Parade" magazine also did a piece on celebrities' first jobs. Although I would guess some of them aren't necessarily FIRST jobs, but EARLY jobs. Here's the list…
Amy Adams: Hooters hostess.
Jim Carrey: Security guard / Janitor at a tire factory.
Debra Messing: Babysitter.
Jennifer Lopez: Fly Girl (dancer) on "In Living Color".
Chris Rock: Busboy at Red Lobster.
Quentin Tarantino: Usher at an adult theater.
"Survivor" creator Mark Burnett: Nanny.
Gerard Butler: Attorney.

"Us" magazine reports that, like Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is not returning to "The View" next season. Unlike Joy though, Elisabeth is being pushed out because viewers find her "too extreme and right wing." There's also talk that the show is close to a deal to make Brooke Shields a permanent co-host. Brooke has appeared on "The View" a half-dozen times, and has co-hosted in the past. been no direct response from ABC or Elisabeth…but a rep for the show says, quote, "[She's] a valued member of 'The View', and has a long term contract."

Sofia Vergara is ready to become a mom again. She and her fiance Nick Loeb are planning to have a baby via surrogate. 40-year-old Sofia, whose son Manolo is 21, reportedly asked a close friend to carry the child for them and they’ve already begun the process. “ According to insiders, the couple always wanted a child, but Sofia’s career is too busy right now for her to even consider becoming pregnant.
14-year-old "Modern Family" star Rico Rodriguez has become Super rich. He plays Sofia Vergara’s son Manny on the show. We told you last week about Kelly Osborne having a seizure while taping the show Fashion Police. TMZ is now coming out and saying that the doctors who've been treating Kelly think she might have epilepsy.
For her 49th birthday, first lady Michelle Obama got bangs. For her 50th, the White House is planning a big bash featuring Adele and Beyonce. A source says “Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the first lady and her friends.” Beyonce has performed for this administration several times.
Speaking of Beyonce, she's supposedly hiding a family secret. Solange Knowles is not her sister, but her daughter. That's the conspiracy floating around. Taking it at face value, Beyonce would've been pregnant around age 12. Her parents then took custody and raised Beyonce and Solange as sisters. She'd be lying about her age by 10-years, and would just not be a mother, but also grandmother. Sounds pretty far fetched, but there's a group trying to uncover the truth.
