Last night was the big Bachelor finale.  In Thailand, Sean got down on one knee and told Catherine that he loved her. She called him her handsome prince and they rode off into the sunset on a big ol’ elephant.  It was not a happy ending for runner-up Lindsay. Sean told her that she “blows him away” and that he admires her courage, but his heart is elsewhere. Sean’s final date with Lindsay in Thailand was a champagne boat ride on a river. Sean and Catherine rode elephants for their final date.   On the live After the Final Rose special, two announced that they are really getting hitched, doing it soon, and that ABC’s cameras will be rolling for a TV special.

We also found out who will be the next Bachelorette.  It’s 26 year old Desiree.  She caught Sean’s eye early on but things got a little rocky on the hometown date when Desiree’s brother accused Sean of being a playboy.  During a rose ceremony he called "excruciating", Lowe sent Des packing that week, leaving her stunned and tearfully pleading, "Don't let me go."

Celebrity Wife Swap"  is on ABC tonight.  Gilbert Gottfried and Alan Thicke swap wives for a week.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed through the 2016-2017 season. The talk show is currently in its tenth season.

Cancelled ABC soaps All My Children and One Life To Live are being resurrected online. Thirty-minute episodes of both shows will premiere on The Online Network Monday, April 29th.

Fresh reports from France have Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie exchanging vows within 90-days.  A source said (quote) "Everything points to them getting married in May just after the Cannes Film Festival ends, because they’ve got their hearts set on tying the knot in France.”  I guess they’re saying that Brad personally went to a French government office to pick up the marriage license, which has a sunset clause. It is not valid after 90-days. Meaning the green light is on for the May wedding.
In the meantime, Brad has "built a zoo." At their house in France, the backyard is filled with goats, llamas, geese, emus and lop-eared rabbits. The boys pleaded for tigers and crocodiles, but dad wanted this to be a "petting zoo" (not an amputation zoo).  Brad thinks it is good for the kids to learn to look after other living creatures.

Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday bash has been over-hyped. Yesterday, the White House denied reports that both Beyonce and Adele had been invited to sing at the first lady’s party next January. A spokesperson called the story “100% false. It was fabricated by a British tabloid.”

Usually when celebs get hacked, naked photos are leaked. This time it was their Social Security numbers.   Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson and Ashton Kutcher are among the 12 victims of a hacker who has posted the stars' financial details, such as mortgage amounts, credit card info and car loans. TMZ says the FBI is investigating.   The hacker also went after such political figures as Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder, the U.S. Attorney General. Probably not a smart move.

Valerie Harper made the rounds on TV yesterday talking about her recent diagnosis.  She told the Today show that even though she’s been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer, she’s still hoping for a miracle.  She told Savannah that when people hear the word “incurable,” they “hear it as a death sentence,” but she’s “more than hopeful,” adding, “I have an intention to live each moment fully. I’m not dying until I do. I promise I won’t.” If you die, you're not a failure.  You're just somebody who had cancer.  And that's the outcome."--She also noted that she's not saying goodbye yet . . . quote, "What I'm saying is keep your consciousness, your thoughts open to infinite possibility and keep yourself open to miracles."  Click here to see the video.

The producers of "Dallas" changed the opening sequence for last night's episode to pay tribute to Larry Hatman  (--Of course, Larry played J.R. Ewing on both the original show and the new one, before passing away last November.)   The episode featured J.R.'s memorial and funeral.   The revised theme song was slower and more somber… and the visuals were tweaked to fit it, before ending on an image of Larry, and fading out.  (--You can check it out at EW.com.)

Lady Gaga could be headed down the aisle this summer. But first, she has to heal following her hip surgery.   Her producer is saying that she’ll marry boyfriend Taylor Kinney. He's the male lead in the video for her song "You and I." They’re “made for each other." She told him that Kinney is the one and adds “I don’t think I’m dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year.”

Matt Lauer has been blamed for Ann Curry’s ouster from Today, but a former exec at NBC says contrary to what the press reported, Lauer was actually in Curry’s corner. In fact, a new article claims Lauer offered to resign if it would help the show, but the network wouldn’t have it and informed him that Ann would be the one to go. In the same article, Matt admitted that Ann wasn’t his first choice for the co-anchor gig, and that he actually approached his former co-host Katie Couric about coming back. Regardless, he blames the network for the whole Curry debacle. “I don’t think the show and the network handled the transition well," said Lauer. "You don’t have to be Einstein to know that... It clearly did not help us. We were seen as a family, and we didn’t handle a family matter well."
