We’ve got some more big news about Bachelor Sean Lowe! We found out Monday night that he chose Catherine to be his wife and that they will get married on TV. Well they made the rounds on tv yesterday morning and made another big announcement. Sean Lowe is going to be on “Dancing with the Stars” There was some speculation that he was going to be one of the "celebrities" but when the cast list was announced, he wasn't on it. Sean will be dancing with PETA MURGATROYD. The 16th season of "Dancing with the Stars" begins on Monday. By the way, even though the "Good Morning America" segment made it seem like he's going to have to work frantically to catch up with the other dancers, he'll be ready to go.
By the way…if Sean and Catherine actually do end up tying the knot, they'll be the FIRST winning "Bachelor" couple EVER to get married. Yes, in 17 seasons of "The Bachelor" NONE OF THEM have ever walked down the aisle. Not that you should necessarily be surprised by that.
Back in February, Katie Couric revealed that she went on a date with Larry King in 1987…and after dinner, he took her back to his apartment and lunged at her. Well, Katie was interviewing one of Larry's former producers on her show yesterday, and Larry made a surprise appearance. Katie was actually shocked and a little embarrassed. She said, quote, "I had no idea Larry was here! Hi Larry, are you mad at me?" After they hugged, Larry said, quote, "Nice to hold you again." Dennis Rodman is quickly becoming a man of the world. He is supposedly showing up to meet with the new pope. Seriously…Rodman's rep said he was catching a jet last night, and would show up in St. Peters Square today in a vehicle similar to the popemobile. His rep says this is part of his effort to be, quote, "an ambassador of world peace." And Dennis himself says, quote, "I want to be anywhere in the world that I'm needed…I want to spread a message of peace and love throughout the world."
Since his own wife is now involved, it's not surprising that President Obama has weighed in on the big celebrity hacking scandal. Yes, Michelle Obama is now among around 20 celebrities who've supposedly had their personal information hacked and posted online… including her Social Security number and credit report. Obama said, quote, "We should not be surprised that if you've got hackers that want to dig in and devote a lot of resources, that they can access this information. "Again, not sure how accurate but…you've got web sites out there that tell people's credit card info. That's how sophisticated they are." No one has confirmed yet that the information posted on the website is legit. The FBI, the Secret Service and the LAPD are all looking into this. And they have warned the victims The FBI has warned the victims to make sure their banks are watching their accounts for possible identity theft. Victims by the way include Al Gore, Sarah Palin, Hulk Hogan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kris Jenner and Donald Trump.
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are teaming up for their third romantic comedy. It doesn't have a title yet, but sources say it, quote, "revolves around a couple who, after a disastrous blind date, are stuck together in a family resort with their children from previous marriages." Adam and Drew previously starred in "The Wedding Singer" in 1998, and "50 First Dates" in 2004.
Someone recently asked Steven Tyler who he'd intern for. It's a bizarre question, and Steven was ready with a bizarre response. He said, quote, "She's blonde with all the hits. Taylor Swift. She's hot. More than that, she's beyond talented…I have to write a song with her." Steven is 64 and Taylor is 23. Not that age means anything for Steven. Two weeks ago, there was talk that Steven went on a date with Clint Eastwood’s 19-year-old daughter Francesca. They were photographed together outside a restaurant, but it's unclear if they were really out alone.
Oops! A box filled with hundreds of unopened fan mail addressed to Taylor Swift was found in a Nashville recycling dumpster this past weekend. A spokesperson for the pop star said, “Taylor gets thousands of fan letters every day…After the letters are opened and read, they are recycled. The only explanation for any letters being unopened would be that a small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center.”
Kelly Osbourne has been released from the hospital after five days with a clean bill of health. While doctors don't know what caused her seizure last week, they think it was a one-time thing.
Celebrity Wife Swap was last night… Alan Thicke’s wife Tanya swapped lives with Gilbert Gottfried’s wife. Tanya left their huge house in Santa Barbara, where she spends cash freely, for a stay in the small and frugal Gottfried household in New York City. Tanya was exhausted getting Gilbert’s kids off to school, and exasperated by Gilbert’s cheap ways. Gilbert took her out for a recreation of his wedding anniversary day that included a stop at a 99-cent store, trying to score cheap theater tickets and dinner at a small table in a restaurant’s kitchen. Tanya tried to throw an elegant dinner party at Gilbert’s pad. Gilbert's wife Dara was shocked by the space of the Thicke’s California spread. Things got a little weird with her joining Alan in the hot tub for his regular champagne nightcap. Dara didn’t quite know how to handle the staff that runs the household, and struggled to plan a big dinner party. She made it clear that she thought the Thicke’s were too materialistic, something that Tanya didn’t take well when Alan reported the fact while the couples were switching back.
