Lozario was on the chopping block…so he save “Feeling Good” to earn the judges save, but Randy delivered the news that it wasn’t enough and he was sent home. The top two singers by the way were Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.
Gwyneth Paltrow, aka The Most Hated Celebrity in Hollywood…has just one guilty pleasure. She tells "Harper's Bazaar" that it's, quote, "My one light American Spirit [cigarette] that I smoke once a week, on Saturday night." Gwyneth also admits she gets a little work done on her face, but she'll never try Botox again…quote, "I use organic products, but I get lasers. It's what makes life interesting, finding the balance between cigarettes and tofu. "I've probably tried everything. I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I'm 50. I'll try anything."
Lady Gaga has been on the shelf since undergoing hip surgery in February, and "sources" tell "Life & Style" magazine that she won't be back in action until September, at the earliest. Supposedly, she just started walking again…but is still "relaxing and rehabbing." Since she can't perform, she's been focusing on writing some new songs, which she finds, quote, "therapeutic." Lady Gaga hasn't commented on her recovery.
Britain's "Sunday Times" is about to put out its annual list of the U.K.'s wealthiest musicians. The complete list doesn't get published until Sunday, but they've already announced that Paul McCartney is #1. Again. Paul has topped the list every year since 1989, when they first started doing it. The "Times" estimates Paul's fortune at $1.05 BILLION. Coming in second is composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has just over $954 million. Adele is Britain's richest musician under 30, with over $46 million.
Two big rock tours were just announced: The Rolling Stones’ super expensive tour, and Kid Rock’s ultra affordable tour…where he's trying to make every ticket cost only $20. Kid Rock hopes he's setting the tone for cheaper concert prices…and in a new interview with "Rolling Stone", he rips the Stones for contributing to the problem with their outrageous ticket prices. He says, quote, "We're all so overpaid. It's ridiculous. People stopped going to concerts because they can't afford them. The Rolling Stones are charging $650 per ticket! That just makes me speechless. I love the Stones, but I won't be attending."
Lindsay Lohan stayed true to character and arrived very, very late to the premiere of Scary Movie 5. The red carpet had been rolled up 30 minutes earlier, but her only remaining friend…Charlie Sheen…waited outside for her like a puppy would its master. They posed for a few photos, then rushed in just as the theater lights were dimming. The murmuring crowd was clearly irate and greeted Lindsay to a chorus of boos. Charlie and Linds have a complex relationship. He’s her biggest booster, but not afraid to tell tales about her misbehavior— tardiness and petty theft. After he spilled the beans to Jay Leno this week, Lindsay reportedly threatened him with a text, which essentially reminded Charlie that she’s fully capable of playing the "kiss and tell" game.
It’s just not a line, Tom Cruise owns Hollywood. Now, and for hundreds of years. This according to an ancestry chart presented to the actor while in Ireland promoting his latest movie, Oblivion. He sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night to tell the story. The Cruise family name goes back to the 800's (9th Century) in Northern Ireland. His ancestors, lorded over much of the land, and even owned—no joking—a town called Hollywood. So consider it destiny that Tom Cruise would arrive in Hollywood (California) and become the biggest movie star of his generation.
Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin's playful banter was a staple of their talk show LIVE for more than a decade, but Kelly said she doesn't keep in touch with her former co-host and hasn't seen Regis since he left the show in November 2011. Kelly…who was honored by The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday along with her current co-host Michael Strahan for making its annual 35 Most Powerful People in Media list…told the publication that she doesn't really stay in touch with 81-year-old Regis. "I haven't seen him, no," she said. Meanwhile, Regis recently announced that he's returning to TV to host a show for FOX Sports 1 called Rush Hour -- during which he'll discuss sports topics with a panel of sports professionals, celebrity guests and fans.
