Country music star Wynonna Judd was the season’s first star to get voted out of the ballroom last night on Dancing With the Stars. In leaving, she said, “I’m a singer, not a dancer, and I did the best I could,” adding that she was eager to get back to making music.  Andy Dick joined Judd in the Bottom Two after Monday’s Prom Night-themed performances.  By the way….This weeks Prom King and Queen were Jacoby Jones and Zendaya.  Huey Lewis and the News performed their classic "The Heart of Rock and Roll." 

John Mayer was on Ellen yesterday…he admitted that he's no longer dating Katy Perry…but that's about all he'd say about it.   He told Ellen, quote, "Listen, it was a very private relationship going in.  It was a private relationship during, and it's a private relationship, still."  He added, quote, "I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given, but I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other.   “Coupling is a tricky thing.  It's a tricky thing.  I want everyone to be happy."  You have to check out the video just to see the goofy cowboy hat. 

Also on the show yesterday, Ellen announced yesterday that the "Finding Nemo" sequel is officially in the works…and it's called "Finding Dory".  Sadly, it won't be in theaters until 2015.  She said, quote, "I read the script and it's fantastic, it's hilarious, it's warm, it's everything that you want it to be…It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is, it's got a lot more Dory."  (--Here's video of the announcement.)

Halle Berry went Ballistic on the paparazzi for swarming her and her fiancé Olivier Martinez as they were carrying her daughter Nahla through the Los Angeles airport.  She even shoved a photographer and screamed at him.  But then she had to restrain Olivier when he tried to go after the guy.   Click here to see the video. 

Conan O’Brien crashed a wedding in Atlanta this past Saturday.  It all started when one of the bridesmaids found out that Conan was staying at the same hotel where the wedding was being held.  She Tweeted Conan an invite just for the heck of it, and he actually showed.  A source says he joked around a little, did his "string dance", chatted with the bride and groom and showed them pictures of his wife and kids.  He also ordered a whiskey cocktail, but "politely refused" a lemon drop shot.  He stayed for about an hour, and a source says he was, quote, "cool and approachable and the nicest guy in the world." 

Trouble for Lamar Odom… ESPN's "Outside the Lines" says that his  cancer charity has raised $2.2 million since he started it in 2004, yet it hasn't given a DIME to cancer causes.  It's mostly been used to fund two elite youth basketball travel teams.  When ESPN asked Lamar about how the charity is dispersing its funds, he told them, quote, "It's my money." Unfortunately for Lamar, that's not necessarily true.  If his charity is spending on things that are not consistent with its stated mission, that could violate tax law…which means he could run afoul of the IRS or a state attorney general.  Could any of this controversy blow back on Lamar's wife Khloe Kardashian?  Probably.  She's done plenty to help Lamar raise money for Cathy's Kids.   However…Khloe's rep says Lamar contributed almost ALL the money that was raised by Cathy's Kids, that no charitable funds were misused, and that, quote, "the IRS has repeatedly given Cathy's Kids a clean bill of health."

A while back, we heard NBC had a game show in the pipeline called "Hollywood Game Night", where everyday people would play games with celebrities.  It sounded a little like an elaborate version of "Win, Lose or Draw".   Well, now they've announced some of the stars who are participating in this thing.  The list includes:  Amy Poehler, Matthew Perry, Jason Bateman, Maya Rudolph, Minnie Driver, Martin Short . Kristin Chenoweth plus more celebrities are expected to join later on.  Jane Lynch is hosting the show, and Sean Hayes from "Will & Grace" is producing it.  Sean said the show would feature off-beat games like, quote, "Putting Michael Jackson's faces in chronological order."  There's no premiere date yet. 

A few months back, Meat Loaf said he'd RETIRE from touring after one last run of dates in Europe this spring.  (--He's doing eight shows, beginning this Friday.) Meat Loaf is 65 years old, and has dealt with some health problems in recent years.  He admits that he doesn't have the physique to handle any more touring.  He says, quote, "This is really it…I just don't want to travel anymore.  I outweigh (Mick) Jagger by about 100 pounds.  That counts for something.  He hasn't seen the wear and tear."  (Jagger is 69.)

It was Prom night on Dancing with the Stars!  The judges loved Kellie Pickler...they weren't to fond of Wynonna's performance.  Check it out...

Yesterday was April Fools Day…and some celebs pulled some pranks.  Snooki announced on Twitter that she and her baby-daddy Jionni eloped. Justin Bieber Tweeted a phone number that was supposedly his, and said he was taking calls from his fans.  But the number was actually TMZ's toll-free tip line.  Mike Tyson Tweeted that he was at the doctor's office getting his face tattoo removed.  On “The Talk” yesterday, Sharon Osbourne  "announced" that she's pregnant.  She later revealed that she was joking. Lindsay Lohan was willing to accept a stint in rehab as part of her recent plea deal, but on one condition.  She’d only agree to go if the facility would allow her to continue taking Adderall. Adderall is prescribed to treat ADHD, and Lindsay has allegedly been taking it for years. Insiders say Lindsay insisted she’d rather take her chances with a trial than have her Adderall taken away. Those close to Lindsay think this is a bad deal, since many believe it was Adderall that led to her downfall. Meanwhile, Lindsay will appear on "The Late Show with David Letterman" a week from tonight.  It'll be her first time in six years.  Her appearance on Charlie Sheen's "Anger Management" airs two nights later.

Barbara Walters refused to confirm reports that she plans to retire in May, 2014. In her first appearance on The View since the story broke, Barbara seemed upset by the rumors.  On the show she said "here I am, and I have no announcements to make." She then added, "I do want to say this, that if and when I might have an announcement to make, I would do it on this program, I promise, and the paparazzi guys, you will be the last to know.”

Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon teamed up to address the "Tonight Show" speculation last night…in a special skit that aired between their shows.  After the "Tonight Show", there was a scripted segment where Fallon gets a call from Leno, who pops up as, quote, "Host of Tonight Show" on Fallon's caller ID.  Fallon asks how Leno has been holding up…and he replies, quote, "I'll live.  I've been through this before, you know.  Gotta admit, I'm getting a little sick of all this."  Then Leno tells Fallon they're still friends…and they launch into a song, set to the tune of "Tonight" from "West Side Story".  (--There's video on LateNightWithJimmyFallon.com.)

Jimmy Kimmel joked about the situation too.  He began his monologue with the line, quote, "I'm here to tell you 'The Tonight Show' has been canceled.  Oh, April Fools!"  Oh and Conan O’Brien’s talk show on TBS has been renewed through November of 2015. 

The Academy of Country Music awards air on Sunday.  Some details coming out about the show that might make it interesting to watch.  They’re opening up the show with a performance by Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Sheryl Crow. Another combination during the awards…Tim McGraw singing with Taylor Swift with Keith Urban on Guitar.  And this one is out of nowhere but might be fun.  Hunter Hayes and Stevie Wonder will be performing one of Stevie’s songs.
Hosting this year is Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.

It’s hard to believe a story on April Fools’ Day about Heidi Klum saving three drowning victims, although it’s being reported widely. The super model apparently became a super hero and rescued her seven-year-old son Henry when he got trapped in a strong rip current on the shores of Hawaii. His two nannies were swept out to sea, as well. US Weekly got an exclusive comment from the super mom. (quote) “We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child. We were able to get everyone out safely.”

After filming her guest spot on "Anger Management", Lindsay Lohan flew to Brazil, where she's being paid at least $100,000 to promote a new John John Denim store.  One night at a club, she hid UNDER a table because she didn't want people bothering her for pictures.  Yes, she sat right on the floor under the table.   At least up to this point, no one seems to have evidence that Lindsay drank anything but water. Lindsay has until May 2nd to enroll in rehab. TMZ is reporting that prosecutors are reconsidering the deal of “lockdown rehab” since it does not apply to Lohan’s criminal record. Instead, they may ask for 90-days of jail time, but everyone knows it’s a revolving door in the county jail.

Richard Griffiths…who played Harry's Uncle Vernon in the "Harry Potter" movies…died last week after having heart surgery.  He was 65.  Daniel Radcliffe issued a statement saying, quote, "Richard was by my side during two of the most important moments of my career . . . I was proud to say I knew him."

Also, big time producer and engineer Phil Ramone passed away recently.  He was 79.  There are no further details on his death.  Phil won 15 Grammys, including a lifetime achievement award, and worked with an insanely long list of musicians, including:  Ray Charles, Chicago, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Billy Joel, Elton John, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, James Taylor, and Stevie Wonder. 

An auction house is selling tons of audition tapes made by celebrities before they were famous.  And two of the auctioneers showed some of their footage Friday on the "Today" show.  Here's some of what they shared…
-Leonardo DiCaprio auditioning for the role of Ponyboy in the short-lived TV version of "The Outsiders".  (--The role went to one Jay R. Ferguson, who's better known now for playing Stan Rizzo on "Mad Men".)
-Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr. and Keanu Reeves auditioning for the firefighting movie "Backdraft".  (--They were trying for the role that Billy Baldwin ended up getting.)
-Gwyneth Paltrow and Helen Hunt auditioning for the part Laira Dern ended up playing in "Jurassic Park".
-Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connely auditioning for "A Beautiful Mind".  In this case, they actually ended up with the roles.

Big weekend for G.I. Joe…New movie G.I. Joe retaliation won the Easter weekend box office, taking in $51.7 million since its release on Thursday.  That's not quite as good as the original, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra", which made $54.7 million in its opening in 2009.   As for the other new movies this weekend, "Tyler Perry's Temptation" finished in 3rd place with $22.3 million…while that Stephanie Meyer movie "The Host" was kind of a flop, making just $11 million in 6th place.

1.)  (NEW)  "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", $41.2 million.  Up to $51.7 million since Thursday.
2.)  "The Croods", $26.5 million.  Up to $88.6 million in its 2nd week.

World Information Tracking has been putting out a list of The 50 Shows That Changed TV.  They chose one show for every year from 1963 to 2012…and the shows weren't just from the U.S.   The list is being released in parts and yesterday, they released the third and final batch, which covers the 2000s.  Here are the American ones:
--2002:  "American Idol"
--2004:  "Desperate Housewives"
--2006:  The "Got Talent" franchise…including "America's Got Talent" and "Britain's Got Talent"
--2010:  "The Voice"
--2011:  "Homeland"

How much would you pay for a signed copy of the Beatles’ album, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"?  And by "signed," we mean it was autographed by all four Beatles.  Well, someone was willing to fork over $290,500…because that's how much one went for at an auction over the weekend.  That's way above the pre-auction estimate, which had it at $30,000.  There's no word on who the buyer is.
According to the "Hollywood Reporter", the previous record price for a signed Beatles album was $150,000.  It was a copy of "Meet the Beatles".

Kellie Pickler is pretty tight with "American Idol" finalist Kree Harrison.  In fact, they're so close, that if Kellie wins "Dancing with the Stars", and Kree wins "Idol", they're getting matching ink.  Kree said, quote, "We've decided that if we both win, which I know she's going to win 'Dancing with the stars', we're going to go get matching tattoos!"
Kree didn't mention whether they agreed on a specific body part…but Kellie already has three tattoos on her left arm to commemorate her USO trips so I think we can rule out that.

Lifetime is NOT bringing back "America's Most Wanted"… so it may be over for good this time, unless some other network picks it up.  The show moved to Lifetime in December of 2011 after Fox canceled it. 

Could we only have a few more years left of hearing about Justin Bieber?  Critics are piling on the singer. One predicted (quote) “His career is over in three years.”   Over the weekend, Bieber had a mountain of negative news. One of Europe’s trendiest night clubs proclaimed (quote) “Justin Bieber’s no longer welcome here” after his entourage allegedly smashed fans’ phones and were groping women.
Bieber also surrendered his monkey at customs. German officials say the singer did not have the proper documentation for the animal.  Too bad, sounds like that pet monkey has better manners than Bieber.

Surprising even their closest friends, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have successfully navigated five years of marriage. They celebrated with a quickie get-away on a private jet. Mariah tweeted, (quote) “Going on a lil vacation with Nick & Dembabies,” meaning their twins Monroe and Moroccan.  This being Mariah, practically every moment of the vacation was posted to Instagram, including a photo of her special anniversary gift to Nick. Tradition holds that the fifth year gift is made from wood, so Mariah super-sized it and gave him a restored 1902 Steinway grand piano. It’s impossible for her to do anything small.

Elimination night on American Idol last night.   The bottom three were Burnell, Lazaro, and Devin.   Devin Velez was the one sent home.  The 18-year-old from Chicago sang for the Judges’ Save with Perry Como's "It's Impossible" in both English and Spanish, bringing judge Mariah Carey to tears. Though the crowd chanted, "Save! Save! Save!," Randy Jackson delivered the bad news.

A lot of people on the Internet have been complaining that Kim Kardashian’s clothes are too tight.  Kim says quote, "I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that's ridiculous!  I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty of room.  "For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body!  They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight.  So this theory sounds ridiculous!  I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes!"  Meanwhile, Kim finally had an unhealthy pregnancy craving.  Earlier this week, she said the only things she's craved since getting pregnant were carrots and celery with ranch dressing. Right after saying that she tweeted that she was craving an In and Out Burger.

Gossip website TMZ posted some behind-the-scenes footage of Lindsay Lohan shooting her guest spot on Charlie Sheen’s "Anger Management", and it looks like everybody had a great time.  Lindsay also cracked some jokes at her own expense.   Like when she's with Charlie at a prison counseling the inmates as part of her community service.  She gets up to leave and says, quote, "If anybody asks, I was here for the full hour." (click here to see the video) On a side note…sources say Lindsay and Kristen Stewart are buddies now

X Factor news…Demi Lovado is coming back to judge another season.  She says, quote, "I'm so excited to return…I look forward to taking my previous experience and applying it to make this season even better."  Auditions for Season Three are already underway.  We still don't know who will replace departing judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid…and it's unclear if Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian will be back as the co-hosts.  Last month, there was speculation that Khloe is being dumped… and that Mario will host the next season alone.  Season Three premieres this fall.)

There's been some talk that Barbara Walters may be preparing to leave "The View"… but now, there's word she's planning on retiring from everything in May of NEXT year.  Someone from ABC News said that even though Barbara has been "joking" about retiring "every year since the Clinton administration"… this time she's serious about it.   The "Hollywood Reporter" claims Barbara will make some kind of "official announcement" about her retirement in the coming weeks.

Taylor Swift may be on tour…but she’s going to make a comedy pit stop on the set of the FOX hit show New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. According to reports, Taylor plays an “important guest” at the wedding of the characters Cece and Shivrang.   Taylor is no newbie to acting in front of the camera. She’s hosted Saturday Night Live, had a cameo on CSI several years ago, and a part in the ensemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day, not to mention a voice role in the animated film The Lorax

Maria Shriver’s neighbors are a little fed up with her laziness. Apparently, she still hasn’t taken down her Christmas lights, even though it’s March. Neighbors think the lights are an eyesore, but have not approached Maria directly because they don’t want to hurt her feelings.

Angelina Jolie has put the speculation to rest  she and Brad Pitt have not gotten married. Earlier this week, Jolie was spotted wearing a simple gold band on her wedding finger, sparking speculation that the couple may have married in secret. But when photographers caught up with her in L.A. Wednesday, she put the kibosh on the story. When asked, “is that a wedding ring, Angelina?,” she replied, “no, it’s not.”

It’s good to be Bond…James Bond.   Daniel Craig made a quick appearance at the New York Auto Show on Wednesday, and got paid big bucks to do so. The was seen in a video driving a $70,000 Range Rover Sport from the company’s UK plant to Manhattan. He then actually drove the car into the display area, got out, and posed for a quick photo op. According to sources, he was paid $1 million and he didn’t even open his mouth. Said one attendee, “I couldn’t even tell if he was actually here.”

"Us Weekly" claims that Tiger Woods didn't just scoop up a lonely Lindsey Vonn.  He actually had to woo her away from Kris Humphries.   A source says Tiger and Kris were both "courting" Lindsey, but she ultimately chose Tiger.  And you say MY picker is broken???

Dating Britney Spears isn't easy.  Sources say her new boyfriend David Lucado had to undergo a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement.  All of which was orchestrated by Britney's dad, Jamie Spears.  Jamie even set up the relationship…quote, "Britney needed someone to keep her company after she and [Jason Trawick] broke up.  It had to be a male, because Britney just doesn't respond as well to females."  What is she, a PET???  I mean, we all know she still needs her dad's guidance, but is she really THAT far gone?

Ashley Judd has decided NOT to run for Congress.  Ashley was thinking about challenging Mitch McConnell, a U.S. Senator from Kentucky who is currently the Senate Minority Leader.  But yesterday she said, quote, "Regretfully, I am currently unable to consider a campaign for the Senate… "[But] I will continue to work as hard as I can to ensure the needs of Kentucky families are met by returning this Senate seat to whom it rightfully belongs:  the people & their needs, dreams, and great potential.  "Thanks for even considering me as that person and know how much I love our Commonwealth.  Thank you!"

Jim Carey is writing what he calls a "metaphysical children's book" that will, quote, "deal with serious things in a really funny way."   The main character is a LITTLE WAVE who's afraid his life will be over when he hits the shore.  But he soon realizes, quote, "he's not just a wave, he's the whole big wide ocean."

A new trailer for Hugh Jackman’s latest "X-Men" spin-off, "The Wolverine", hit the web yesterday.  (The movie hits theaters July 26th.)

American Idol was on last night.   The Top 8 did the Songs of Motor City with mentoring by Smokey Robinson. One of the best performances came from Amber Holcomb who performed “Lately” by Stevie Wonder. The judges were on their feet. Keith called it a “tour de force!" Randy called it the “best vocal of the night.”  
Odds are you probably know somebody who watches the show who can’t stand Nicki Minaj.  It seems that sentiment is pretty common.  But Nicki doesn't agree…she thinks she's been "spectacular" as a judge.  By the way, she won't say whether or not she'll be back next year, because she wants to, quote, "save the mystery."  

Also…Carrie Underwood will debut her new single "See You Again" on next Thursday's "American Idol".  That's the April 4th episode.

CBS renewed a whopping 18 shows yesterday…they include "Survivor", "The Amazing Race", "Elementary", "The Big Bang Theory", "How I Met Your Mother", "2 Broke Girls", "Mike & Molly" and of course the two "NCIS" shows.  "Two and a Half Men" was NOT on the list but CBS is "discussing" another season with the show's production company.  Also, "CSI" will be back, but the jury is still out on "CSI: New York".

The new batch of tabloids are about to hit the grocery store aisle. Their shocking cover stories would have you believing:

• John Mayer ditched Katy Perry because she got pudgy after coming off her concert tour. So she’s turned to her ex-husband, Russell Brand for relationship advice.
• Jennifer Aniston requires that her friends address her as "Mrs. Theroux."
• Khloe Kardashian could be pregnant, and might not know who is the father.
• Sofia Vergara is using a surrogate because “her shape and body are worth too much right now to take her off the market.”

Lindsay Lohan caused production delays on the set of Anger Management. What was to have taken two days, stretched into a third. Lohan (quote) “looked hungover and puked in the parking lot.” She had an early morning call to re-shoot the scenes she'd flubbed the day before. Then she hopped a jet to party in Brazil.  On Tuesday, Lohan arrived late and sounded as if she’d spent the night staying up and smoking a carton of Marlboros. Everyone agreed, Lohan has to return, but then she arrived on day three appearing even more ragged. There's no telling if producers can salvage this episode.

There’s a new paternity controversy brewing in the Kardashian family. A male model, named Michael Girgenti, is now claiming he could be the real father of Scott Disick’s son with Kourtney Kardashian.  Girgenti tells In Touch magazine how he allegedly seduced Kourt…when she was on the rocks with Scott… about nine months before she gave birth to Mason. Only after he saw photos of the boy did Michael begin to do the calculations and wonder if he’s the baby daddy. (quote) “Mason deserves to know his real father.”

Kirsten Dunst has shocked half of society by claiming that a kiss with Brad Pitt was “disgusting.” In fact, it was so traumatizing, that Dunst thinks it was another six years before she kissed another guy.  Dunst recently told a magazine all the details of growing up on the set of the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire. She was just 10 years old when she had smooching scene with Pitt. (quote) “It was just a peck. Everyone at the time was like, ‘You're so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,' but I thought it was disgusting. I didn't kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer."

Dorothy Hamill had to bow out of "Dancing With the Stars" last night on the advice of her spinal surgeon.  "I have an injury that could be irreparable, and nerve damage, and it would be completely unfair for me to stay in this and have any of these people go home," the 56-year-old class act explained. "I can't do what I need to and, you know, the rest of life is physical, as an athlete, is important.    "I can't do him justice," Dorothy added, acknowledging partner Tristan MacManus, "and these are the most amazing people who want to be here. And it's not that I don't want to be here, but I wish I could give it my all, but I can't."  That means that the Bottom Two, Victor Ortiz and Lisa Vanderpump, will live to dance another day.    Click here to see video.

If you liked the movie “Independence Day”…Director Roland Emmerich gave some scoop on the sequels.  Yes…there are going to be two of them.   It's 20 years in the future, and more aliens have come to attack, after receiving a distress signal from the ones who were defeated in the first film.  Bill Pullman, who played the president in the original, is coming back.  There's no word on anyone else yet…but one of the heroes in this one will be the stepson of Will Smith’s character.

Have you ever binged on a particular TV show…where you watch like an entire season in one weekend?  If so, you're not alone…it's become quite a phenomenon thanks to DVD, Blu-ray and the various Internet streaming services like Netflix.  Well, some research group went through the numbers from some of the biggest streaming services from January of last year through this past January…and put together a list of the shows viewers most often binge on.
Here are The Top 10 Most-Binged TV Shows:
1.)  "Prison Break"
2.)  "Charmed"
3.)  "That '70s Show"
4.)  "How I Met Your Mother"
5.)  "Gossip Girl"
6.)  "Supernatural"
7.)  "Scrubs"
8.)  "Heroes"
9.)  "24"
10.)  "One Tree Hill"
Clearly, a lot of these shows are old…but that makes sense, because in order to be "binge-able," a show has to have lasted a while, AND it must be available in bulk on at least one streaming service.  One last note:  The research found that there are two types of binging:  "Marathon bingers" and "Catch-up bingers."   Marathon binging "is seen most frequently with shows that have already ended" …when viewers want to consume it all at once.  Meanwhile, catch-up bingers are simply "catching up on past episodes of TV series they're currently watching."

Madonna is super rich.  In fact, the "New York Post" reports that she's now a BILLIONAIRE.  This would be a fairly recent development…because previously, she's "only" been rumored to be worth around $700 million. In addition to Madonna's big tour last year, which grossed over $300 million and earned her $75 million in merchandise sales she has reportedly made a killing in some recent investments, including Vita Coco and the gym chain Hard Candy. There's also her perfume, clothing lines and various endorsements.  Meanwhile, Dionne Warwick is super BROKE.  According to TMZ, she's bankrupt, and owes more than $10.2 million in unpaid taxes.  In her bankruptcy filing, Dionne claimed she only had $25,000 in total assets.   She says she makes $20,950 dollars a month but spends $20,940 a month.  Meaning, Dionne is banking just ten bucks a month.  At that rate, it would take Dionne about 85,000 YEARS to pay off her tax debt. Dionne's rep says her severe financial problems were caused by, quote, "negligent and gross financial mismanagement" in the late '80s and early-'90s.

Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin have teamed up to do some amusing New Year's Eve specials over the past few years…and now, there's word that they might be working together on a regular show, possibly for CNN.   They filmed a pilot at the CNN studios yesterday.  All we really know about it is that it's an "hour-long project," with "a lot of humor in it" that "films in front of a live studio audience."

E! has released a teaser for Ryan Lochte’s upcoming reality show…”What Would Ryan Lochte Do”….and he seems kind of stupid. 

"Judge Joe Brown" is coming to an end after 15 YEARS.  This leaves us with just 273 court shows to choose from when we take a sick day from work. 

Lindsay Lohan’s streak of good behavior has ended after one day. She reportedly arrived two-hours late to the second day of shooting of Anger Management. An insider on the set said (quote) “She looked and sounded terrible compared to yesterday. It was like night and day. This second shoot had more lines. It will just be edited down.”   Based on the rasp of her voice, sources guessed she’d stayed up all night smoking something. Possibly she was celebrating her first day on the Anger Management set, where she was praised for her early arrival and comedy skills.

The fourth season premier of the Voice was on last night.  New coaches Shakira and Usher joined Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.  They kicked off the show by performing the classic Beatles song "Come Together." They opened the show with a great performance by a twins.  They joined Blake’s team.  They closed last nights show with an audition from a girl who'd been rehearsing with Michael Jackson as one of his backup singers at the time of his death.  Her name's Judith Hill and she got a standing ovation from all four judges before choosing Team Adam. 

Gwyneth Paltrow is once again sharing a list of her favorite things, and once again, the prices are astronomical. Paltrow’s Annual Spring Edit is out, listing an assortment of her must-have clothes, shoes and other items. Among them: a $5,485 Valentino python bag; $970 ankle boots from Maison Martin Margiela, an $850 pair of Alexander Wang leather shorts; a $795 iPad case and a $675 t-shirt. The total cost - $458,003.

Reports last week claimed that Kanye West convinced Kim Kardashian to name their baby North (as in North West), but Kim denies they’ve picked a moniker, and says they are considering going with a “K” name to carry on the family tradition. "I think it would be really cute because Kanye and I are both K's, but half the names on our list aren't K's," she told Extra. "We still have time, [so we'll do] whatever feels right." She did add, however, that Kanye, "wants something that's unique." She also addressed the constant tabloid reports mocking her pregnancy weight gain. "There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds. I'm like, 'You are 60 pounds off here!'" she said. “Obviously you don't want to be called fat, but I'm pregnant. Lindsay Lohan showed up an hour early yesterday to begin taping her guest appearance on Charlie Sheen’s "Anger Management".  She also denied reports that she got drunk at a club over the weekend.  She says she was at a private event at a "members only dining club", and she was drinking water.  She was there to see City of the Sun, the band her supposed boyfriend Avi Snow plays in.

Celebrities often want to keep the faces of their children hidden from the media, but this has to be a new one:  Eva Mendes thinks the tabloids should blur out her dogs face.  Eva has a dog named Hugo, and she doesn't like people knowing too much about him.   She says, quote, "I'll go somewhere and [the paparazzi will] be like, 'Hey, Hugo!' and I'm like, 'How do you know Hugo's name?  That's so creepy!"   Here's what's even FUNNIER about this…Eva was on "Letterman" last week and she told him her dog’s name is Hugo.  She also revealed that he's a Belgian Malinois.  

It seems like NBC is killing the TV show "Smash".  First, they banished it to Saturday nights beginning next month…and now, one of its stars, Debra Messing, has lined up another gig.  She's been cast in a CBS sitcom pilot.  Her character is "a ghost-writer for a demanding celebrity chef," who's also "struggling to balance family, life and work."  There's no title yet, but it's in the running to make CBS's schedule next season.   Of course, if NBC opts to KEEP "Smash", Debra is under contract to continue…but this is usually a sign that a show is on its way out.

It's a good bet the people at Amazon.com have noticed the HUGE success of "The Walking Dead" because they're developing a new show based on the Woody Harrelson movie "Zombieland".  Amazon is working on pilot episodes for about a dozen original shows…including this one…but not all of them will get full seasons.  Here's the deal:  They're going to make one episode of each available for free on Amazon.com.  Then, the most popular ones will be made into full-on shows, which will available on their paid streaming service, Prime Instant Video.

Have Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie secretly tied the knot? Well, that’s what the press is asking, after Angelina was spotted at LAX wearing a simple gold band on her wedding finger, instead of the Robert Procop engagement ring she was previously wearing. So far the couple has not confirmed or denied the speculation.

 NBC has been submerged by a blizzard of bad press. Yesterdays nuggets are perhaps the worst yet.   NBC execs acted completely heartless by refusing to allow Ann Curry a sympathetic tweet to Robin Roberts, who last fall took leave at the rival show Good Morning America due to a life-threatening illness. Apparently, NBC was (quote) “afraid she was trying to aid the enemy.” They were shaking in their boots how 140 characters might sink the ship, even when they were doing a decent job of it themselves.   Also, New York magazine reports that, earlier in the year, Matt Lauer flirted with jumping ship to ABC. There had been high-level conversations about Lauer reuniting with Katie Couric for a daytime talk show. Lauer used that possibility to leverage himself an even bigger paycheck. He now takes home 25 million a year. NBC may still have the last laugh. With faltering The Today Show ratings, and the need to shake things up, the first thing the bean counters would like to do is eliminate Lauer from the payroll.

With lockdown rehab on the horizon, Lindsay Lohan has her eye on bingeing on two continents. TMZ is reporting that Linds has a 6-figure payday awaiting her in Brazil for a week-long Spring break party. That amount sounds dubious, but stranger things have happened with Lindsay. Just look for her to "lose her passport," get stuck in Brazil and miss her next court date.  Lindsay is still claiming that she does not have a problem. But she’s learned her lesson after visiting rehab at last 5 times: Appearances is what really matters. So over the weekend, while out clubbing,  she made it absolutely clear to the server at her VIP table: Lindsay cannot be photographed with any alcohol or beer bottles at her booth. A witness says Lindsay was definitely drinking Vodka sodas, but demanded that it be served in a carafe. Mission accomplished.  If Lindsay wakes up on time, she tapes scenes of Anger Management today.

Barrington High School in Chicago won a contest in which students had to produce and send a video about the volunteer and community service work they do.  The prize was a visit from Rihanna.   It was supposed to go down on Friday, and it did…but several hours late.  According to varying media reports, Rihanna was somewhere between three and a half to five hours late.  About 2,500 students were left waiting for her in the school gym.  And when she got there, she only stayed for 16 minutes before jetting to get ready for a concert nearby.  She blamed traffic.  

Ford is apologizing for an ad campaign in India that showed the Kardashian sisters kidnapped, bound and gagged in the back of a Figo car with Paris Hilton behind the wheel. The tag line (quote) "Leave your worries behind with Figo’s extra large [trunk].” The idea was to note Paris's fading fame at the expense of Kardashians.  After the ad appeared on a website, Ford took it down and issued a statement that said (quote) “These were never intended for paid publication and should never have been created, let alone uploaded to the Internet.”

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards went down Saturday night.  Winners include Johnny Depp for favorite movie actor and Kristen Stewart for favorite movie actress and female butt-kicker.  Lebron James was voted favorite male athlete, and Danica Patrick won favorite female athlete.  "The Hunger Games" won favorite movie, and "Wreck It Ralph" was voted favorite animated movie.  Justin Bieber and Katy Perry won favorite male and female singer, respectively.  The favorite villain award went to Simon Cowell.  Josh Duhamel was the host.   Check out the complete list of winners here.

The animated caveman movie "The Croods" topped the box office this weekend with $44.7 million.  It beat Gerard Butler’s "Olympus Has Fallen", which made $30.5 million in 2nd place.   That's the first time this year the top two movies at the box office have each made more than $30 million.   Further down the list, Tina Fey’s "Admission" fell flat, making $6.4 million in 5th place, while Selena Gomez’s "Spring Breakers" made $5 million in 6th place in its first week of wide release.

In what may be her final acting gig, Valerie Harper will guest-star on "Hot in Cleveland".  Valerie was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer back on January 15th.  At that time, her doctors said she had three to six months left.  The episode will feature a big "Mary Tyler Moore Show" reunion, which is an awesome way for Valerie to go out.   In addition to "Hot in Cleveland" star Betty White…Mary Tyler Moore will guest star along with Cloris Leachman and Georgia Engel.   According to reports, this is the first time the five of them will act together since the "Mary Tyler Moore Show" ended in 1977.
The episode will tape on April 5th.  There's no airdate yet, but the fifth season premiere is scheduled for June 19th. 

Tonight is the 4th season premier of "The Voice" on NBC.  Shakira and Usher are the new judges joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton this season.

Also tonight…"Dancing with the Stars" on ABC.  The new season is only a week old and already there’s a diva on set. Bachelor star Sean Lowe has a severe attitude, and has been telling producers exactly what camera angles he needs to be shot from. In addition, he’s reportedly been bragging to other cast members that “this show NEEDS me.” A producer for DWTS denied the rumor, saying "Sean is a pleasure and there is nothing diva-like about him."
Sandra Bullock’s cheating ex-husband Jesse James tied the knot for the fourth time on Sunday. The ex Monster Garage star wed drag racer Alexis DeJoria at the San Diego home of Alexis’ dad, John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of the Paul Mitchell hair care line.

Last week, we heard the Black Eyed Peas were planning to replace Fergie…temporarily…while she took time off to have her baby and record a solo album.   Well, Will.I.am. says that's bogus.  He Tweeted, quote, "The rumors on Fergie being replaced are so false [it's] the furthest from the truth [we're] family

Tony Bennett is recording a jazz album with Lady Gaga in June.  He tells "Rolling Stone", quote, "She's phenomenal.  I get along great with her.  She's looking forward to it and so am I."  Tony and Lady Gaga previously teamed up to record a version of "The Lady Is a Tramp" for Tony's "Duets 2" album.  It came out two years ago.--It's too early to say when this jazz album might be released.

Kim Kardashian is not even close to her due date yet, but word is she is already making crazy demands of the hospital in preparation for the event.   Rumor has it she is attempting to rent out the entire maternity floor for the birth. Hope there are no other mothers in labor that day! She has also reportedly requested that her hospital room be sound-proofed, with all outside noises and hospital sounds blocked. She has also asked for mood lighting, and the sounds of nature and soothing waters to be piped into the birthing suite. Sounds like if you throw enough money at a hospital they will make all your baby birthing dreams come true!

Bobby Brown turned himself in Wednesday to begin serving his 55 day jail sentence for DUI, but he wasn’t behind bars for long. Thanks to LA County jail overcrowding, Brown spent a total of nine hours in lockup. He checked in at 9:58 am and was out by 6:58 pm. Although he’s out of jail, he must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for eight more days.  In addition, Brown still has to spend four years on probation and take 18 months of alcohol education classes.

World Information Tracking has been putting out a list of The 50 Shows That Changed TV.  They chose ONE SHOW for every year from 1963 to 2012…and the shows weren't just from the U.S.   The list is being released in parts…we shared part of it last week…and yesterday, they released the second batch, which covers the '80s and '90s.  Here are the American ones:

There's been talk that NBC might dump Jay Leno before his contract is up in September of 2014…so that they can hand Jimmy Fallon the reins sooner rather than later.  Supposedly, it could happen as early as February.    But TMZ says that's unlikely, because "when Leno renegotiated his contract during the Conan O’Brien mess, he demanded, and got, several penalty clauses that would make NBC take an enourmous financial hit if they pull the plug early."  There's no word how much that payout would be, but supposedly Leno made sure it was an INSANE amount.  That way, he could essentially guarantee that he wouldn't be replaced early.   Actually, this is kind of funny . . . it's almost as if Leno is protecting himself from being LENO'D.

John Mayer has spent most of the past two years dealing with some throat problems…but apparently, he's well enough to return to the road, because he's announced a big summer tour.   For now, it's scheduled to run from July 6th at Summerfest in Milwaukee through October 5th in Hollywood.  He hits Red Rocks on July 16th.   American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips is the opening act for almost all of the shows.

Speaking of American Idol….  We had an elimination last night.   The bottowm three were Devn Velez, Amber Holcomb and Paul Jolley.  After singing for his life…Paul was sent home.  

Lindsay Lohan is going to shoot a scene on Charlie Sheen’s TV show…Anger Management.  She’s going to play herself as a patient in therapy, who develops feelings for Sheen's character.   Lindsay is only weeks away from entering lockdown rehab.   Beforehand, Charlie’s looking to get her some money and free publicity. This acting gig, in her twisted mind, will be the first step toward her comeback. She thinks it will end with her Oscar acceptance speech. Well, a girl can dream.

Kim Kardashian gave a nine-hour deposition in her divorce case Tuesday, where she insisted she married Kris Humphries for love, not publicity. Kim “testified under oath” that her intentions were genuine when she agreed to marry Kris and that her reality show “played no part in her decision to tie the knot.” Kris is trying to get an annulment based on fraud, and sources say the deposition “didn’t help his case.” The former couple’s trial is set to begin May 6th, 19 months after Kim filed for divorce (which was just 72 days after she got married).

No matter what Barbara Walters said publicly, consensus is that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will soon be out at The View, but she may not be out of a job for long. The New York Post reports that CNN’s new boss Jeff Zucker is trying to woo Elisabeth into joining the cable channel. Said a source, “They’re definitely interested.”
